A progressive web application (PWA) is a type of application software released by Google and delivered through the web. It is built using common web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript and works on any platform that uses a standards-compliant browser, including both desktop and mobile devices. WeShareApps will provide users in emerging markets with an optimized app experience through PWA technology, and give them the same experiences millions of users in the industrialized world take for granted every day. WeShareApps has gone through a major growth the past 5 months – from 30.000 users to 1,3 M users ( 5.100%) - in India which is our test market. As a market place for Progressive Web Apps (like Appstore) we are ranking on top in search in India! With a global smartphone market counting 2,5 billion smart phones (excl. China) and doubling in size towards 2025, we are looking for funding to continue our growth. Our revenue model is validated, and we have indications from several major app publishers to participate when released – they see WeShareApps as a competitive gateway into new market segments.
