Virtual Trainer creates cross-platform digital services and products for the fitness, health and rehabilitation industry. The company is based in Sweden and founded by serial entrepreneurs Daniel Aarenstrup and Robert Lidén. Company received early seed funding from RECAPEX with Niklas Eklund (Livebookings). The core product is a Virtual gym instructor in the shape of a large touchscreen deployed on location at fitness centers. The touchscreen is loaded with hundreds of instructional videos for the members to browse at any time but also other functions like schedules, booking of classes and booking of Personal Trainers. The secondary market is mobile applications where it have turned the touchscreen instructor into a subscription based iOS application.
