Silicon Valley Comes to the UK company profile

Silicon Valley comes to the UK (SVC2UK) is a not-for-profit volunteer-led invitation-only series of events that bring together early stage investors, serial entrepreneurs, students, and alumni to discuss, debate, create, and fund disruptive internet and green technology companies. It helps first time CEOs in Europe to develop their companies, inspires students to consider entrepreneurship as a career, and fosters relationships between entrepreneurs, business people, and investors. The events take place in the form of keynote lectures, workshops, sponsored VIP dinners, networking evening, innovation sessions, debates, summits, and conferences. In 2013 SVC2UK launched the 100 Club, now called Scale Up Club, to help CEOs take their businesses to £100m in revenue within 3-5 years. Silicon Valley comes to the UK was launched by Ellen Levy, Reid Hoffman, and Sherry Coutu in 2007.
