STIMIT is a medtech company that is going to re-invent intensive care by empowering patients to breathe. 50% of all mechanically ventilated patients experience loss of intact breathing function, caused by a weak diaphragm. 40% of time in intensive care is spent only to wean patients from the ventilator, thereby rebuild diaphragm function and rebuild ability to breathe.
