Solverde Energy emerges from the volcanic sun-soaked archipelagos of Macaronesia—minimalist in design, resilient by nature, and rooted in solar innovation—to power the first generation of small vehicles born from an Archipelagic African state. Founded in 2025 by Rodrigo Carlos Santos, this visionary prototype enterprise is set to become the first energy technology company to arise from the archipelagic nation of Cape Verde—proudly situated on the Macaronesia tectonic plate. Rooted in a mission to address the escalating drought crisis in Cape Verde. Drawing its inspiration and energy from the Cape Verdean sun — a symbol of resilience, progress, and life itself — committed to powering a sustainable future through innovation in energy and mobility. This means we are a disruptive industrial energy technology company headquartered in Cape Verde that is committed to expanding sustainable innovation in automation and renewable energy industries. We use Cape Verde's abundant solar radiation, which average 5.5 to 6.0 kWh/m²/day, to design, develop, and install solar-powered solutions specific to the island's particular housing energy needs to power homes across Cape Verde.
