Silexica was a venture capital backed company for software development tools. The SLX programming tools accelerate the journey from software to application-specific hardware systems and thus reduce time-to-market of intelligent products. Founded in 2014 as a spin-off from RWTH Aachen University, Silexica was headquartered in Germany with offices in the US and Japan. It has received $28M in venture capital funding from international investors and was acquired by Xilinx/AMD in 2021.
