SE Labs company profile

SE Labs aims to improve information technology security by assessing products and services designed to detect attacks, protect against intrusions or both. We test a range of solutions including endpoint software, network appliances and cloud services. Our tests are technically accurate and relevant, and are conducted with the utmost integrity. We perform private testing as well as producing public reports. The company's founder is Simon Edwards, ex-Technical Director of security testing organisation Dennis Technology Labs and Chairman of the Board of the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization (AMTSO). He has been testing anti-malware and other security products since 1995 and published results for the first 'real-world' anti-malware test, which involved full end-to-end threat testing using internet-connected endpoints, inclusion of web-based exploits and full execution of malware.
