With a market capitalisation of USD 675 million (MUR 23.3 billion) as at 31 July 2017, the Group is the third largest listed entity on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. SBM Group is present in Mauritius, Madagascar, India and Kenya. It has more than 17,000 domestic and international shareholders, services over 600,000 customers and has an employee base of more than 1,300. The Group has been consistently ranked among the top 1,000 world banks by The Banker in recent years. In 2016, Tier 1 capital was estimated at USD 505.4 million (MUR 18,598 million).
