Sare Millers is a manufacturing company that uses agribusiness as a means to empower farmers socially and economically. Sare Millers has introduced the Boresha Maisha na Kuku Kienyeji program which has gained reputation with the farmers in various places across the region. This program is geared towards commercializing the local poultry production to ensure its success. The company also works hand in hand with the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) and Technoserve through the SPADE program to promote local poultry industry. Through this program Sare Millers has been charged with the responsibility of producing the quality feed for the local birds commonly referred to as “Kienyeji Mash” to enhance growth and ensure birds mature at an early stage to fetch maximum production.
