Rwanda NCD Alliance company profile

Rwanda NCD Alliance convenes civil society organizations to address noncommunicable diseases through advocacy, capacity building, and community programs. The alliance promotes policies on tobacco control, alcohol harm reduction, healthy diets, and physical activity, and engages decision‑makers through consultations, campaigns, and evidence briefs. Activities include public awareness initiatives, screening and early detection drives delivered with health partners, and training for advocates and community facilitators. Member groups access coordination support, toolkits, and opportunities to collaborate on cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, and chronic respiratory disease priorities. The organization contributes to research uptake by disseminating reports and monitoring commitments that aim to strengthen prevention, treatment access, and patient voice. Events, webinars, and multi‑stakeholder forums connect clinicians, patient associations, youth groups, and policymakers to align on NCD control and universal health coverage goals.
