The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is an international society of radiologists, medical physicists, and other medical professionals that promotes patient care through education and research. It has more than 54,000 members from 136 countries across the globe. The RSNA hosts and draws approximately 55,000 attendees annually to its radiology forum at McCormick Place in Chicago; publishes two top peer-reviewed journals: Radiology and RadioGraphics; awards CME certificates; develops informatics-based software solutions in support of a universal electronic health record; sponsors research to advance quantitative imaging biomarkers; and conducts outreach to enhance education in developing nations. Through its Research & Education (R&E) Foundation, RSNA provides funds to young investigators. The Radiological Society of North America was founded in 1915 and is based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
