Africa holds more than 20% of the global disease burden but contributes less than 1% of global research and real-world data output, resulting in underrepresentation, slow outbreak detection, and limited innovation tailored to African populations. RhizoneCare closes this gap by transforming community-level data into actionable insights through dashboards and a live health map that organizations can subscribe to on a B2B SaaS model. The platform serves governments, NGOs, insurers, pharmaceutical companies, healthtech innovators, and research teams, helping them track disease patterns, evaluate interventions, understand emerging markets, develop new products, and drive evidence-based decision making. RhizoneCare scales data collection by tapping into Africa’s rapidly growing youth population and the expanding gig economy. Alongside the data platform, RhizoneCare operates a home-health service that generates early revenue and grounds the company in frontline patient experience. The startup is currently in the early prototype stage, preparing for pilot programs, pre-seed funding, and expansion of the Rooter network.
