Quantum Source is developing a photonic quantum architecture for fault-tolerant, practical quantum computers that can scale to millions of qubits at a fraction of the complexity, footprint, power consumption, and cost of other implementations. Designed around chip-based photon-atom gates, Quantum Source’s novel architecture allows for deterministic, one-step mutual exchange of quantum information between photonic and atomic qubits. Providing versatile building blocks for scaling up quantum systems, Quantum Source is paving the path towards cost-effective, practical quantum computers that will disrupt industries such as medicine, security, climate simulations, financial algorithms and more.
