Partenariat Régional pour la Conservation de la zone côtière et Marine coordinates a coalition of NGOs, public agencies, research bodies, and community groups to protect coastal and marine ecosystems. The partnership supports marine protected area management, sustainable fisheries, habitat restoration, and coastal resilience, combining policy advocacy, technical assistance, training, and small grants. It convenes the Regional Coastal and Marine Forum and maintains knowledge and e-learning platforms to circulate data, tools, and practices. Activities include scientific monitoring, reporting on biodiversity and fisheries, community engagement, and communications that promote compliance and stewardship. PRCM also facilitates multi-country project design and financing, including initiatives under the WACA ResIP program, to align investments and actions across the seascape.
