Parasol is a leading professional employment organisation dedicated to supporting the flexible workforce. Founded by former IT contractor Ross Crossland, Parasol was launched to provide professionals with the benefits of employee support along with freedom and flexibility over their working life. Since 2000, Parasol has supported over 53,000 employees across a range of industries, including IT, engineering and teaching, while the organisation has been able to develop strong relationships with over 2,500 reputable recruitment agencies. Throughout the years, parent company Optionis has acquired a number of companies to provide greater solutions for contractors and freelancers. The company has gained a number of awards and accolades as a result of its quality, compliant support, including recognition in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and 250 across the years. A selection of Best Companies Awards as well as the Investors in People Gold Award and ISO:9001 have also been gained.
