NORSEP company profile

NORSEP is a ground-breaking technology for converting hazardous waste from incinerators into valuables. It is a technology firm in Porsgrunn that has created a chemical technique to purify fly ash from waste incineration and transform it into resources like zinc concentrate, salt, and purified fly ash. The Norsep method' scientific foundation was created through lab-scale studies that got underway in 2015. These tests confirmed the hypotheses. The pilot test facility in 2018–19, which Minister of Climate and Environment Ola Elvestuen formally launched, helped to improve the crucial steps in the process and provided the technological foundation for future expansion.
