MoSMB provides an RDMA-accelerated SMB2/SMB3 server stack on Linux for enterprise file sharing and data access. The software runs in user space and supports use cases such as enterprise file servers, Microsoft Hyper-V, SQL Server, VDI, HPC, AI/ML, and big data workloads. MoSMB integrates with distributed file systems like Lustre, Ceph, GlusterFS, and MapR, and offers active-active scale-out clustering, high availability, and transparent failover. It also supports SMB access to HDFS and functions as a NAS gateway to object storage via S3 drivers. Editions include features such as SMB Direct, multichannel, advanced security, and integration with Windows, macOS, and Linux clients.
