At magikbee, our mission is to reimagine screen time by creating an ecosystem that promotes active fun & learning through a range of innovative technologies. We are based in Braga, Portugal. Our latest product, kiddZtube Academy, is a video-quiz platform on which teachers create video-lessons for their students using popular YouTube content by augmenting the videos with pop-up learning quizzes. Content is delivered to kids on mobile devices via the kiddZtube app, a safe, educational environment where they can access both their own teachers' content and a wide selection of other video-quizzes, which are all curated by educators. kiddZtube video-quizzes teach children spelling, colours, emotions, directions, and more – all by asking kids about what they are watching. Also in our line up is magik play, a "phygital" kids toy that seamlessly connects traditional building blocks with tablets in a series of fun puzzles and games. Its unique and patent-pending technology creates a neat augmented reality experience for young kids. Magikbee has been recognised multiple times as one of the most innovative startups in its segment. Namely, it was one of the finalists of the Silicon Valley World Cup Tech Challenge, on the Shortlist of the Reimagine Education Awards, and more. We have teachers and students in more than 80 countries using our products and we are growing each day.
