Sichuan Jiuyiyuan Particle Technology Co., Ltd. was established in February 2017. It is a key demonstration high-tech enterprise of China Academy of Engineering Physics in response to the national strategy of military-civilian integration, developing military-civilian, high-end medical equipment, and biopharmaceuticals. The company is a mixed-ownership enterprise jointly held by the Chinese Academy of Physics, the private sector, the R&D team, and SDIC Ventures. Relying on the core technology of accelerators, the company has gradually expanded to the development of various types of high-precision diagnostic equipment for nuclear medicine. The successfully developed medical cyclotron fills the gap in the country and will complete the first installation in 2019, achieving a breakthrough in commercialization.
