The facility was established by Kineco in 2004 primarily with a strong focus on aerospace, defence and medical imaging equipment. After the joint venture was set up in November 2012 it was named as Kineco Kaman Composites-India Pvt. Ltd. (KKCI). KKCI is a certified company for NADACP NDT (AC 7114), Composites (AC 7118), NMMT (AC 7112), Chemical Processing (AC 7108) and AS9100 Rev. C.
