Khoj Samachar is a digital news media organization based in Kathmandu, founded in 2021 by journalist Roshan Shrestha. The outlet focuses on fact-based reporting on corruption, governance, civic rights, public accountability, and socio-political issues across Nepal, with particular attention to rural and marginalized communities. Operated under Bethel Media House Pvt. Ltd. it functions as a digital media platform, investigative newsroom, and documentation publisher within Nepal’s online news ecosystem. It publishes news and public-interest information in both Nepali and English through digital reports and video content, using a multimedia approach to make verified information accessible to the wider public. This work was highlighted by Global Voices in 2025 for its contribution to youth-driven, community-focused journalism and for expanding digital literacy in Nepal.
