Intrinsic Games was a Los Angeles based independent game developer focused on creating unique and engaging handheld titles. Formed by alumni of the University of Southern California, Intrinsic Games' first title, 'Divergent Shift', was awarded 'The Next Great Mobile Game' at the 2009 Independent Game Festival and was subsequently published for the Nintendo DSiWare service by Konami Digital Entertainment. It was acquired in 2011 by Grab Games.
