iFLUX company profile

In a world where only a small portion of our water is suitable for consumption, groundwater plays a crucial role. Sustainable groundwater management is essential to secure reliable drinking water supplies and protect the environment. Our goal is to confront the growing crisis of water scarcity head-on. iFLUX brings visibility to groundwater dynamics, enabling insights for evidence-based groundwater management. We help manage complex groundwater challenges for cities, conservation and nature parks, the remediation and construction industries, and drinking water utilities. We have designed patented groundwater sampling technology (iFLUX Samplers) to track groundwater contamination. The iFLUX Samplers enable faster and more cost-efficient remediation projects, by measuring groundwater and contaminant movement over time. Groundwater and mass flux results provide soil experts with the key insights they need to reduce the risk and uncertainty of soil contamination management. iFLUX Sensing Solutions combine leading commercial sensors and external data with unique vertical and horizontal flux sensors, creating the most effective real-time digital monitoring networks. These groundwater monitoring networks translate secured data into concrete, real-time insights on a personalized dashboard. Public and company-specific data can be easily integrated into the dashboard, making it possible to analyze and interpret data, resulting in actionable insights. This real-time continuous and accurate data flow allows the immediate detection of the influence of groundwater-related activities and trends. iFLUX was founded in 2017 and is based on the research of Dr. Goedele Verreydt, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp and VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research).
