Green Dot Climate is committed to addressing climate challenges in Mongolia and beyond through youth empowerment and optimized project implementation. We believe that youth are not just tomorrow's leaders but today's change-makers. Our initiatives are already making a significant impact, with a goal to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions by 1%. Here are key highlights of our work: 1. Team Mongolia Initiative on AWorld App: Our presence on the AWorld app, a UN-endorsed climate tracking platform with 107,000+ registered actions, has saved 792,000+ kg of CO2, conserved 26,500,000+ liters of water, and reduced electricity consumption by 86,173 kWh as of October 25, 2023. 2. Education Outreach: Over the past year, Green Dot Climate has reached over 500,000 individuals through various initiatives, including quizzes, social media content, in-person events and workshops (more recently, a climate change workshop for Mongolian LGBTIQ+ human rights activists), and youth-led club sessions. 3. Ambassadorship Program: Our program involves 60+ student members from 17 aimags in Mongolia. We're actively working with four ambassadors to pilot Earth Month Clubs in high schools, inspiring young minds to take collective environmental action.
