Ghost Telecom is a new and progressive telecommunications company founded in 2006 by three highly successful entrepreneurs with considerable experience and impressive track records in the technology and telecoms industries. Ghost Telecom identified a very clear opportunity in the telecoms marketplace, developing a portfolio of free and low-cost, web-enabled VoIP and GSM services for international communities. In early 2009 it launched 'FooCall', offering consumers a low cost international calling service. In Summer 2012, it launched its flagship, pure VOIP app 'FooTalk' on Android and iOS, giving users the ability to make free calls to other FooTalk users. In March 2013, an updated version of FooTalk was released, becoming the world's first service to offer global VoIP calling via the Facebook platform. It was well received amongst the tech press for showcasing a British company bringing a US-only feature to other regions.
