Gaia AI company profile

Gaia AI is an MIT spinout applying similar perception AI as to what the team has built for autonomous vehicles, but built from the ground up for forestry management (demo of our data and AI: bit.ly/gaia-ai). We use sensors and perception AI to modernize the data that we have to work with for managing forests for the timber and logging industry, while reducing frictions towards evaluating all of the values of forests in forestry management decisions, including carbon projects, ecosystem services (for supporting local biodiversity), and wildfire risk.
