Frugalpac is a sustainable packaging company with a global mission to decarbonise food and drink packaging. It creates and supplies recycled paper-based packaging products with the lowest carbon footprint that are easily recycled again. In 2020, Frugalpac launched the Frugal Bottle - the world's first commercially available paper bottle for wines, spirits and olive oils. The Frugal Bottle is made from 94% recycled paperboard with a food grade pouch to hold the liquid, is five times lighter than glass and uses 84% less carbon to produce and dispose of. Frugalpac was praised by the UK's Department for International Trade’s GREAT Britain campaign as one of the organisations “doing incredible things to help build a global sustainable future” in the run up to the COP26 climate change conference.
