The FOSS Group, with offices in Switzerland and Germany, is a management, marketing and investment company, which has established itself with Free Open Source Software (FOSS). The FOSS Group was founded in 2007. The FOSS Group has its focus on Free Open Source Software and therefore its name. In the same year, the FOSS Group participated in the IPO of Max21 in Germany of which it still holds shares today. The FOSS Group invests in companies that particularly rely on free open source software for their projects and customers. The synergies are used to provide professional services and solutions on the market. Their aim is to participate in these already successful companies within the FOSS Group not only with capital but also to help them develop at all levels. With the foundation of start-ups and stake acquisitions the FOSS Group aims to cover the German-speaking regions with its own resources. The FOSS Group carries out projects in the field of open source, makes open source developments and support companies in the implementation of their IT strategy with open source. The FOSS Group is the largest open source systems house in German-speaking regions.
