Eupedia is an online encyclopedia that provides detailed information about Europe’s history, cultural heritage, and languages as well as explains the cultural differences between Europeans and the genetic origins of European ethnic groups. The website has a dedicated section for genetics, which is focused mainly on European population genetics, historical genetics, and genetic genealogy as well as related fields such as prehistory, archaeology, and anthropology. Eupedia’s aim is to create a detailed and informative guide to countries of the European Union with an emphasis on travel, history, culture, and life in Europe. Eupedia was launched by Maciamo Hay in December 2004.
