Equipe Hurakan is an extracurricular project that combines the knowledge of students from various courses to apply engineering concepts learned in college to the development of a boat. The team participates in the annual University Nautidesign Challenge, where teams are tasked with designing and building boats. In addition to the competition, Equipe Hurakan also admits new members to its team through a selection process that takes place in the first semester of each year.
