Epipole are a UK-based retinal imaging company. Epipole was founded in January 2011 with the express aim of building intellectual property in the application areas of image processing, 3D and medical imaging. We have developed the epiCam family of retinal video devices, which launched in 2016. They are now disrupting the ophthalmic device space and introducing clinicians to entirely new ways of working and understanding retinal imagery - and in some cases helping to generate entirely new science. The epiCam V veterinary variant was launched in 2017, enabling high quality fundus imaging of a variety of animals.
