Energy Plus Ltd. sells battery inverter backup systems and energy efficient lights to grid-connected schools and businesses in Uganda, so that they no longer need a diesel generator when the grid is out and pay less for electricity when the grid is working. Battery Backup and Efficient light systems: <BR/> -Schools, Markets <BR/> LED Lanterns: <BR/> - Individuals <BR/> -Energy Plus` energy efficient lights use approximately 50% of the power of traditional lights, and with the additional savings on diesel from the backup battery, customers can reduce their annual power costs by 2/3. <BR/> -Energy Plus also sells LED lanterns to individual customers, both on and off the grid, and does energy efficiency consulting for businesses.
