ConstructX is the operating system for construction procurement. Unlike takeoff tools that stop at quantities, Mercury handles the full workflow: evidence-backed takeoffs, spec-aware scopes of work, automated RFQs, and intelligent bid leveling. Mercury analyzes architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to extract materials across all 16 CSI divisions, complete with quantities, specs, and location context. It applies project-specific logic for multi-unit builds, phased scopes, and regional pricing to produce purchase-ready material lists. From there, Mercury automates what traditional tools can't: matching materials to pre-vetted vendors, generating RFQs with proper scopes of work, and leveling incoming bids for apples-to-apples comparison. Every project makes Mercury smarter, learning which vendors deliver, where prices are trending, and what scope items get missed. The result: general contractors go from plans to purchase orders in days instead of weeks, with fewer change orders and better pricing.
