Cameco is one of the world's largest uranium producers, a significant supplier of conversion services and one of two CANDU fuel manufacturers in Canada. Our competitive position is based on controlling ownership of the world's largest high-grade uranium reserves and low-cost operations. Much of our success is built on strong partnerships with aboriginal communities, particularly in northern Saskatchewan. As Cameco mines, mills and explores for uranium, maintaining and growing strong relationships continues to be a priority. Cameco has a five-pillar approach which provides a strong foundation through business development, workforce development, community engagement, environmental stewardship and community investment that has helped secure public trust and support for our operations. Cameco’s uranium products are used to generate clean electricity in nuclear power plants around the world. We also explore for uranium in the Americas, Australia and Asia.
