Breitling is a specialist in chronographs and technical watches, Breitling has also shared the finest hours in the conquest of the skies. Founded in 1884, the brand established itself as a privileged partner of aeronautics, notably through its famous onboard chronographs. In 1952, Breitling strengthened these authentic ties with the masters of the skies by creating the legendary Navitimer. The wristwatch was equipped with a circular slide rule enabling all calculations relating to aerial navigation. The brand with the winged B developed various innovative instruments for aviators’ use, such as the Emergency, the first wristwatch in the world equipped with an authentic integrated dual frequency personal locator beacon. Several teams fly under the firm’s colours, including the famous Breitling Jet Team with its spectacular aerobatics. Breitling is associated with the greatest air shows around the world and supports the restoration of legendary aircrafts such as the Breitling Super Constellation, one of the two remaining flight worthy “Super Connies” in the world.
