Botswana Meat Commission is a parastatal to promote the development of the country's livestock, it was established to procure livestock, slaughter same and sell the products of such slaughter locally, regionally and internationally. It also promotes livestock production schemes to ensure adequacy and sustainability of cattle supply to its abattoirs.
