BookU is a student-to-student textbook and study materials marketplace mobile application. Study materials are hard to source and textbooks are expensive, so we created a mobile platform that connects students within their community to optimize the circulation of experienced local supply. As the platform evolves it scans and rates material quality, recommends purchases and pricing, and requests supply from its community based on inventory and behavior data. Uploading is seamless, payment is digital, and exchanges are local and on-demand.
