These wineries became Pedro Domecq after a few years. Being the first Domecq winery in Mexico at that time. The Saro Family, the second and third Generation Resume Bodegas Capellanía after Pedro Domecq leaves the Region. From 1970 to 2010, the vines from the vineyards remained latent in San Juan de Amargos, waiting for better times for the Ramos Arizpe wine, and thus in 2010, in a tribute to Don Pedro Saro Martínez, and to many farmers from Ramos Arizpe, resurfaces BODEGAS CAPELLANIA to honor these great men of our desert. Nowadays, varieties such as MALBEC, SYRAH, MERLOT, CABERNET SAUVIGNON, MOSCATEL… are being produced again in the desert of Ramos Arizpe to produce the jewels of the desert at Hacienda San Juan de Amargos, in Paredón Coahuila.
