Black Doll Affair company profile

Black Doll Affair is a cultural arts and self‑esteem organization that uses dolls, storytelling, and social programming to explore identity and origin. It operates a membership-based social club where members become “living dolls” by purchasing a signature T‑shirt tied to toy doll donations. The organization runs Be a Doll, Give a Doll initiatives, Christmas doll giveaways, and self‑esteem summits for Black girls and women. It also develops educational artifacts such as the ME Doll, inspired by Mitochondrial Eve, to teach shared human origin and spark dialogue. Partnerships and collaborations with toy makers, retailers, and public figures support its community-focused work.
