Binderholz is an European company for solid wood products and innovative construction solutions. The name Binder stands in the wood sector for tradition awareness and seriousness, combined with high technology and innovation. Already more than 60 years ago a small sawmill company, the family company binderholz is today one of the leading European companies with the most modern technologies and production methods. Binderholz counts 12 locations: around five 2,530 employees are employed in five Austrian - Fügen, Jenbach, St. Georgen, Hallein and Unternberg - five German - Kösching, Burgbernheim, Oberrot, Baruth and Wolfegg - and two Finnish - Lieksa and Nurmes. The solid wood product range ranges from cut timber, profile wood, single-layer and multi-layer glued solid wood boards, glulam plywood up to binder timber plywood BBS. The residual wood produced in the production process is processed into biofuels, green electricity, multipurpose plates, presspank loops and press chip pallets. The products are exported all over the world.
