Mobile Protection Systems Ltd (MPS) has designed a unique safety barrier. The Mobile Temporary Barrier is unique in that it will be the only fully tested system specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the existing Traffic Management Vehicles widely used throughout Europe and the United States. The barrier will be deployed to protect personnel as works are being carried out on road and motorway networks. The Mobile Temporary Barrier is currently in the computer simulation phase of a rigorous testing process. 34 Crash testing will then take place later in the year to ensure it meets and is fully compliant with the EN1317 standard. The Mobile Temporary Barrier will be manufactured and distributed from our base in Dundalk, County Louth.
