Arena is a social venture based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, dedicated to tackling the housing deficit and plastic pollution. We are committed to transforming plastics into sustainable building materials. In an industry traditionally dominated by cement-based mortar, we offer eco-friendly interlocking bricks that facilitate easy construction, require minimal manpower, and significantly reduce the need for cement. By doing so, we aim to lower the cost of construction, making decent housing accessible even for those at the bottom of the pyramid. Our innovative approach contributes to addressing pressing environmental concerns while providing practical solutions for affordable housing.
