The Friends of Poli Patrimonial Fund is an association that seeks to raise donations and apply the proceeds from this funding to projects in Poli, always observing the best practices of governance and transparency and focusing on the perpetuity and maintenance of the donated capital. Brief History The history of the Association began in 2009, when a group of former students began to seek the creation of a model of support to Poli that had attributes that allowed a broad fundraising. As the Friends of Poli Organization Team was conducting research and meetings with potential donors, teachers, managers of third sector entities and various other distinguished personalities, the Association was taking shape and form, so the current structure is a synthesis of all the suggestions and criticisms collected over the past two years. How it is Organized The Friends of Poli Patrimonial Association is born with a fund that has financial resources from the donation of several friends of Poli, so that the management of resources is in charge of market professionals and the decision on the use of resources is by a Deliberative Council appointed by donors. It should be noted that one of the positions of the Council is reserved for a faculty member of Poli. Positioning The Association is, from a legal point of view, independent of Poli, and its resources are managed exclusively by the association itself, and its commitment to the current School budget is prohibited.
