ALP.Lab company profile

ALP.Lab specializes in testing automated driving functions and complete vehicles. As part of Safety Labs Austria, it serves as Austria’s accredited Euro NCAP laboratory for active safety testing, operating in collaboration with DSD at a dedicated test track in Upper Austria. The company provides services including test preparation, equipment calibration, trajectory programming, and data analysis using tools like the AVL Smart ADAS Analyzer. In partnership with Cepton and TE Connectivity, ALP.Lab contributed to the 'Periscope' project, a V2X proof of concept that utilized lidar sensors and real-time communication to alert drivers of hidden hazards approximately five seconds before they became visible . Through these initiatives, ALP.Lab supports advancements in vehicle safety and automated driving technologies.
