Alcyomics offers human in vitro (lab-based) pre-clinical safety testing to ensure drug safety and efficacy before first administration into man. They offer a consultancy service of how the pre-clinical data can be used to assist clinical trial development such as dose response and a stratified medicine approach to patient selection. Their technology is also a suitable alternative to animal testing for the cosmetics industry. In addition They offer immunogenicity and potency testing of novel chemicals. Alcyomics was founded in 2007 and started trading in 2009, providing technology support to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, building on 30 years' research experience with the use of skin explant assays for predicting graft versus host disease and understanding its immunobiology.
