Akkuyu Nükleer is responsible for the construction and operation of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, the first nuclear power plant in Türkiye. The project includes four nuclear power units, each with a capacity of 1.2 GW, aimed at providing electricity to over 12 million consumers across more than 10 provinces. The plant is being developed in collaboration with ROSATOM, which holds the majority share in the company. The construction timeline plans for one unit to be completed each year from 2023 to 2026.
