Adenium Biotech is a Danish biopharmaceutical company spun out from Novozymes A/S in 2011. Adenium focuses on the development and commercialization of novel antibiotics for the treatment of multi drug resistant bacterial infections. Our focus is treatment of nosocomial infections, in particular complicated urinary tract infections and hospital or ventilator acquired pneumonia caused by multi drug resistant Gram-negative bacteria. Complicated urinary tract infections are caused by predominantly Gram-negative bacteria and in particular Escherichia coli.
