Additive Works is a Bremen based Software company providing easy-to-use software solutions for simulation-based process preparation. Founded in 2015, Additive Works aims at turning laser beam melting for metals into a one click process by integrating novel technologies into the process chain. The software suite "Amphyon" comes equipped with modules to find the ideal part orientation for specific applications, automatically generate optimized support structures, simulate the buildup process and use the simulation results to generate 3D models that compensate part distortions. Saving failed builds and manual process preparation time, Amphyon's capabilities tremendously reduce the costs of metal additive manufacturing.
