It collaborates with cities and organizations to enhance the lives of citizens through physical activity. AWI's proposals include measuring and analyzing physical activity levels and encouraging organizations from different sectors to work together. It also supports the Global Active City model, which is awarded to cities that have implemented a Physical Activity and Sport for All policy. AWI is supported by the International Olympic Committee, Evaleo, and TAFISA.
