The Private Enterprise Credit Agency in Cameroon (ACEP Cameroon SA) is a microfinance institution (MFI) set up in 1999 by the Government of Cameroon with funding from the European Union (EU) and the Agence Française Development (AFD) with technical operator ACEP Développement. ACEP Cameroon started in the form of a project attached to the Cameroonian Ministry of Industrial and Commercial Development, ultimately aiming for its institutionalization as a public limited company.
